Pajama Party

Ok since nobody has posted anything, I guess it is back to me....

As some have mentioned, we had a wonderful pajama breakfast at Denny's restaurant. Once we all got over the embarassment of walking around in our pajamas, I think we had a wonderful time.

Here is our Queen getting ready for the show. I have to say that she was the bravest since she had to arrive at the restaurant first :)

All in all, lots of fun. I will post more pics later...or if anyone has pics from the breakfast....post away ~

Lady Di's British Store and Tea House

On of our very first formal tea's was at Lady Di's British Store in Lake Oswego. We went there under the suggestion of "English Rose" and had a wonderful Afternoon Tea.
The finger sandwiches were wonderful! and the desserts were out of this world...oh yeah, and they had great tea :)
Any tea house that has a gift store attached is also tops in my book!

Mardi Gras Momma's Red Hat Ceremony...

Many women look at turning 50 as a scary thing, but as a Red Hatter...it is embraced. That is the day when you get to put away your pink frilly hats & join the the sisterhood of the Red Hat Ladies.

We celebrated Mardi Gras Momma's Red Hat Ceremony over breakfast at Elmer's. Not only did she receive very cute presents but she was also granted an official Red Hat from the Queen herself. As the Poem by Elizabeth Lucas goes:

"When I am an old woman I shall wear purple, with a red hat that doesn't go and doesn't suit me"

Dinner at the Spaghetti Factory

The Queen Vickie and her mascot Amelia waiting for the rest of the Red & Pink Hatter's. I think this was the first Christmas dinner we had as a group.

Lunch at Elmer's Pancake House

One of the first lunches out for the new group. The Queen and her court.

Ben & Jerry Ice cream parlor

Boy did we have fun that day, we all were screaming for ice cream. BettyJo had brought her son's mother in law to the event that was visiting from out of town. She got to see what fun the Red & Pink hatter's have. Queen Vickie
